Should You Buy The Maclaren Techno XLR?

However, if you're looking for a practical pushchair that you will love to use every day, then the XLR can't be beaten. It oozes quality, has a classic design and does it's job perfectly.

As a general rule Maclaren pushchairs are awesome, which makes the Maclaren XLR totally awesome! It's suitable from birth, easy to fold and really easy to push and steer.

Great For Good Quality Sleep

The XLR ticks all the boxes for me. It's lie flat which means good quality sleep for your baby. It has a versatile sun visor which can be extended and moved around to stop the sun getting in little eyes, this is really helpful when baby is sleeping.

Adjustable handles mean that taller partners can push without stooping over, so its great for sharing duties.

Excellent All Round Handling

Handling is great all round, the lightweight and swivel wheels make it easy to zip in and out and through supermarket aisles. You can hook bags over the handles too – though don't overdo it!

Nice Compact Fold

When you're done shopping it folds up nice and small to slot into your boot. Or if you're taking the bus or train you'll love how easy it is to manouevre into the pushchair space. Pockets on the back of the pushchair are great for storing little snacks or a bottle.

Maclaren have also introduced a lifetime sovereign warranty which just goes to show their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Underseat Basket Awkward To Access When Reclined

About the only minor fault I can level at the Maclaren XLR is the underseat basket is difficult to get to when the seat is lying flat. In the grand scheme of things thats a pretty minor gripe and can't detract from the fact that this is a fantastic pushchair.

Don't Be Disappointed, Buy The XLR

Lots of mums end up with a Maclaren after trying several other pushchairs. My advice is this, save yourself a small fortune and just get a Maclaren XLR at the beginning. It will last for years and if you have more than one child it will still be going strong. There are also loads of stylish accessories so you can freshen things up from time to time.
