The Slalom Pro is an excellent pushchair, it has been superseded by the Slalom Reverse, this features several improvements. Please see the Jane Pushchairs page for a list of all current products.
This Jane Slalom Pro is lighter than previous versions. Big inflatable wheels & suspension make this a pushchair you can confidently take off road.
I’ve always liked this range of pushchairs. The build quality is excellent and the tubular frames are manufactured to be really strong. Although a friend of mine took one on holiday and had the frame bashed up… the airline shall remain nameless, but it was definitely a case of baggage handler rage.
Still, they replaced the parts pretty quickly, and provided a Hauck as a temporary replacement. Not as swish as the Jane but solid and functional.
So, back to the Slalom Pro… This years range have come out recently, I loved last years colours, but these are a little stark for my tastes. I think they’ll grow on me though.
This blue one is called “Utopia” – Jane win the award for best colour names! Other good colours are “Meteorite” in grey and black, and “Amazon” – light grey and you guessed it, green.
If you need a travel system, Jane are also pretty good at those, they do the Matrix, Strata and Capazo. The package includes a carry cot (Capazo) or a car seat (Strata and Matrix) depending on which you go for.
So, a thumbs up from me, not the cheapest pushchair, but you get your moneys worth with this dependable pushchair from a brand you can trust.
