Stokke Xplory

stokke-xploryA seriously sexy pushchair!  Stroll around and show everyone who’s the mama.  They don’t come any better than the excellent xplory

Better Than A Bugaboo

If you want the best pushchair that money can buy and don’t want to follow the hordes in buying a Bugaboo or Quinny then the Xplory is your salvation. The futuristic design will draw admiring glances and comments, be prepared for mums asking where to get one!

Elevated Seat Is Great For Mums Back

The elevated seat means much more interaction with your baby. You wont have to keep bending down which is a major selling point for mums with bad backs. Combined with an adjustable height handle and light handling it really is a boon if you need to take a little more care.

Keeps Baby Away From Pollution

Another advantage of being high up is that baby is kept away from exhaust fumes. In town centres and urban environments this can make a noticeable difference. I almost have an asthma attack just thinking about all that ozone, lead and whatever else gets belched out by most cars! Roll on electric cars I say.

Rear Or Forward Facing

When in rear facing mode you’ll be close enough to touch and to chat away and stimulate your babies babbling and conversation skills! Switching to forward facing is easy enough when your little one gets older.

Reassuringly Close

One mum I spoke to found it re-assuring to have the seat a little higher because she was concerned about some of the dogs in her area. You can’t blame a mum for thinking of safety, there’s always something horrible on the news. I personally love dogs, but don’t get me started on ones bred for fighting…

Pushchair Design Thats Out Of This World

Design wise there’s nothing that comes close to the Xplory – on this planet at least! The first time you see one you wonder which solar system it got beamed down from. Jaws drop and people half expect it to start hovering. A range of striking colours mean you will find one that appeals to you. The fabrics also wash really well and don’t lose their lustre.

Plenty Of Storage Space

Accessory wise you can get various bags and clips to add additional storage space if required. The funky bag that attaches to the base has oodles of space.

Great For Cafes & Restaurants

If you’re the kind of family that like to eat out then you’ll be delighted to discover that the Xplory can serve as an impromptu high chair. Going to restaurants and cafe’s just got easier!

Doesn’t Cope With Muddly Lanes

Are there any gripes with the Stokke? Well, there are a couple of ‘imperfections’ if you will. It’s definitely an urban pushchair. This isn’t really for the countryside mum walking down muddly lanes and across fields. Thats not to say it’s wont cope, but there are definitely better options for rural environments.

A Few Minor Quibbles

Zipper tabs are a little flimsy but if they do snap off you can simply replace them with keyrings of your choosing. Oh and the raincover is a bit awkward to get in place.

Thoughtful Design

Other than that it’s hard to find fault with the Xplory. The intelligent design and thoughtful features make it one of the best pushchairs available.

Slimmer Than It Looks

In contrast with some other pushchairs like the quinny buzz, the width isn’t an issue. It’s actually slimmer than it looks so you wont find yourself accidentally barging people off the pavement!

Hands Down The Best ‘Luxury’ Pushchair

If you are looking for a luxury pushchair and only want the best, you’ve found it in the Xplory.
